What is Walk for Hospice?

An older couple walking together with the words

When Saint Elizabeth was founded 110+ years ago, we were a group of visiting nurses serving our communities. To honour our heritage, the Saint Elizabeth Foundation has committed to supporting end-of-life care for people most in need nationwide.

One of the ways we accomplish this goal is to support local hospices through the annual Hike for Hospice. The Saint Elizabeth Walk allows our employees to participate in their local hospice Hike or to host a walk at their service delivery centre (SDC) in support of the hospice. All participants who sign up through the Saint Elizabeth Walk site create a fundraising account that they’re able to share with friends, family and neighbours. All donations of $20 or more through the Saint Elizabeth Walk site will be eligible for a tax receipt from the Saint Elizabeth Foundation.
